Job Opening - Closes May 9th, 2014

The City of Pryor Creek is seeking applications for a Dispatcher at the Pryor Police Department. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. Applicants must be able to operate a multi-line phone system, communicate clearly and efficiently over the radio, and possess computer knowledge. Shift work is required. Applicants should also have good public relations skills, be able to multi-task, and will be required to interact with prisoners and attend annual training classes. Applications are available online at www.pryorok.org or may be picked up and returned to the City Clerk's Office, 12 North Rowe, by Friday, February 28, 2014. All applicants will be subject to drug testing. The City of Pryor is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

We currently employ 23 commissioned officers and five dispatchers dedicated to providing the best service possible to the community.
