We have taken several burglary reports over the last couple of months. While our officers and investigators work on each case with utmost diligence, we are asking that you remember to lock your vehicle doors at night; we also recommend that you secure all valuable items in your residence.

General Information

Welcome to the Pryor Police Department's web site. Our department is dedicated to the safety of the residents and business owners of the Pryor Creek, Oklahoma community. We currently employ 22 commissioned officers and four dispatchers dedicated to providing the best service possible to the community.

Project Childsafe

As a result of a Department of Justice grant, we have a limited number of gun locks to give away. These are first come, first serve. If you have children in your home, please stop by and make your home a safer one.

Adopt or Find a Lost Pet

The state of Oklahoma has a Pet Overpopulation Control Program. To qualify you need a Medicaid card, Social Security award letter, EBT card, or other written correspondence from DHS/approving agency. If you are interested and need info please contact the Pryor Animal Shelter at (918) 373-2928 or the Pryor Animal League at (918) 530-6156. If you qualify, the cost is $10.00 per animal, and a rabies shot may be requested for $5.00.
