Former K9 Bojar

Bojar, as with any canine with the Pryor Police Department, was seen as an additional officer who worked as hard as anyone else in our department.
From Bojar's commission in July 2002 until his retirement in January 2009, he and Cpl. Doug Barham were called out 107 times. Of those 107 instances, Bojar alerted to narcotics 98 times.
Throughout Bojar's career, he helped seize 1,109 grams of methamphetamine, 43,271 grams of marijuana, and 965 grams of cocaine. The total weight of these seized narcotics came out to 101 pounds, 3 ounces, and 13 grams (Estimated at almost $430,000 total). 14 vehicles, 37 guns, and approximately $68,000 were also seized thanks to Bojar.
Of Bojar's alerts, 67 felony arrests and 43 misdemeanor arrests were made.
In 2005, Cpl. Barham, and Bojar were selected as the Region II K-9 Team of the Year by AONE (Association of Oklahoma Narcotic Enforcers). Region II consists of 14 different counties, including Tulsa County.
