Lois Smith came to work for the Pryor Police Department in 1980 in the records division. Her responsibilities include data entry of all incidents, file management, fingerprint processing, monthly OSBI/FBI reporting and alternate communications officer. Lois is married to our former Administrative Assistant Chief of Police - Melvin Smith and she has two children, Jennifer and Brent Caldwell. She has 6 grandchildren which she enjoys very much. Her favorite past time is spending time in Cozumel, Mexico diving with her husband and friends.

James Coats was elected to the office of Pryor Creek City Marshal in April of 1913.  He was shot and killed in the line.....
